Swamiji has taken Sannyasa Diksha from HH Sri Sri Ishwarananda Tirtha Mahaswamin and is a devotee of The Shankaracharya of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham. Swamigal has established the Sri Chakra Mahameru Peetham in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh State 20 years ago.
He is affectionately referred to as ‘Bilaspur Swamigal’ by his devotees.The Aradhana of Sri Sri Chandrasekarendra Saraswati Mahaswamigal or Mahaperiyava is conducted very month on the occasion of Anusham as well as a grand annual Aradhana, in which a Chandi Homam is performed and Annadhanam arranged for 25,000 people.
