Swamigal engages himself in the worship of Chandramoulishavara, Tripurasundari and in Sadhana for the upliftment of mankind. The Matham runs a Veda Pathashala for children of the region. The main subject is Veda Adhyayanam of Shukla Yajur Vedam – Madhyandina Shakha, which is the prominent Shakha of North India.

Through engagement with the Government of Chhattisgarh, Shukla Yajur Vedam is recognized as a subject of study, and along with English, Hindi, Science and other subjects, Vidyarthis of the Pathashala are able to obtain SSLC certificates from the Chattisgarh State Board. This enables students to pursue degrees in Sanskrit and allied subjects like Vyakarana, Jyotisha. The Matham also runs a rural school based on Chattisgarh State Board for the children of nearby villages.

The Pathashala has 70 Vidyarthis and the school has 100 students. All Vidyarthis are housed in a hostel in the Matham’s premises. The school children are day scholars, but the Matham provides them with food during the day. Chattisgarh has strict laws against cow slaughter. As a result, barren cows are smuggled to other states for slaughter. The Matham has intervened in this matter and is running a gaushala with 20 aged and abandoned cows.

The Matham also supports destitute families in the surrounding villages with support for basic life events – births, marriages and deaths. All activities are conducted entirely from the Matham’s finances, with no support from the Government or corporate entities.
